YOUR THERAPIST, CAROL GOODWIN
I trained and qualified at the Academy of Clinical and Medical Hypnosis in London. The Academy courses are independently validated and assessed by the National Council for Hypnotherapy, accredited by the Department of Education and are also supported by Brighton, Cambridge, Leeds, Loughborough and Reading Universities.
I am the approved Hypnotherapist covering Berkhamsted, Tring and surrounding area for the National Smoking Cessation Institute (NSCI), the largest not-for-profit smoking cessation organisation in the UK (after the Government’s). Please check out their website at www.stopsmoking.coop/ . I am a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), and on the Central Register of Stop Smoking Therapists. The GHR ensures that I am qualified, fully insured, and follow their Code of Ethics.
I am also trained to Diagnostic level in Thought Field Therapy (TFT). I trained with Robin Ellis, who originally bought TFT into the UK, and is one of the country’s most experienced trainer/practitioners. I am a member of the British Thought Field Therapy Association (BTFTA).
I am NHS registered.
Testimonials
Thanks to the work Carol has done with me, the 'grey veil' that covered my world was lifted and I was able to face my circumstances without the feeling of despair or bereavement. This feeling continues now, several months later - and for that I am truly grateful. I absolutely believe that without the benefits of 'tapping' my world would have remained in despair. Thanks Carol!
JB – Aylesbury (Anxiety/Grief)
I have to admit I was sceptical when I decided to try an alternative way to stop smoking than just using will power alone. And how wrong I was! Following Carol's first session the cravings had gone completely and after years of smoking I was smoke free. I never believed such techniques could work so well (and so quickly).

Wow!!!! I did walk down to the park and actually walked through the field where they walk dogs, there were dogs there but I wasn't bothered! That feels so
weird. I wasn't in any rush to get back home and I even sat down at a place where I used to feel terrified. It felt so different. Thankyou sooooo much!
